Official: Josué Homawoo joins Standard de Liège

It's official! Young Togolese international Josué Homawoo is now a Standard de Liège player.

Josué Homawoo and Standard de Liège reached a transfer agreement this Tuesday, July 1st. The Togolese defender has signed a two-year contract with an additional year as an option with the Belgian club.

For the record, Josué Homawoo completed his training and began his professional career at FC Nantes before playing for FC Lorient, Red Star FC, and finally Dinamo Bucharest between 2023 and 2025.

According to his new club, the Togolese international expressed his delight at starting this new chapter in his career.
