OGC Nice interested in Mostafa Mohamed
On the hunt for attacking reinforcements, OGC Nice have set their sights on Mostafa Mohamed, according to L'Équipe.
The 27-year-old Egyptian striker, who is under contract with FC Nantes until 2027, is reportedly no longer unanimously supported within the club. Despite posting respectable statistics, his attitude behind the scenes is said to be causing issues, prompting Nantes’ management to consider letting him go. The Gym, eager to add power and depth to their attacking options, are closely monitoring the situation. However, the competition is expected to be fierce: several clubs from Turkey, Greece, and even Egypt are also said to be in the running.
To have any hope of landing the former Zamalek and Galatasaray striker, Nice will need to be both persuasive and quick on their feet. The player, who has netted 19 goals over two Ligue 1 seasons, could prove to be a shrewd market opportunity... provided the Nice dressing room can welcome him in.
