Papa Amadou Diallo edging closer to England

Watford is stepping up its efforts to secure the services of Papa Amadou Diallo, who has been playing for FC Metz since 2023. The English side, ambitious in its search for attacking reinforcements, is actively negotiating with Metz’s management to reach a swift agreement. After an impressive 2024/25 season in Ligue 2, where he tallied 7 goals and 4 assists in 28 matches, the Senegalese winger also seems keen on making his first move to England.

Negotiations between Metz and Watford have reached an advanced stage. The English club is reportedly considering a transfer fee of around £4.3 million (nearly €5 million). The deal could be finalized in the coming days, with the winger set to join the Championship.
