Preparations for the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations: Towards a Tunisia - Kenya Friendly?
The Tunisian national football team will begin a training camp at the start of June. On this occasion, the Carthage Eagles will face Morocco on June 7, on the pitch of the Atlas Lions.
According to the latest reports from the specialized press, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), led by Mr. Moez Nassri, is finalizing the scheduling of a second friendly match during this same camp, also in Morocco.
A second match against Kenya in preparation?
Pending official confirmation from the FTF, Tunisia could play a second friendly against Kenya. This would provide the Carthage Eagles with the opportunity to engage in two high-level tests during this gathering.
These matches are part of Tunisia's preparation for major upcoming events, notably the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Let's recall that Sami Trabelsi's men strengthened their leading position in Group H thanks to their victory against Malawi last March. With 16 points on the scoreboard, they now lead Namibia by four points, bringing them closer to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
