PSG: Achraf Hakimi finally speaks out after defeat in the final
Achraf Hakimi

More than 24 hours after the crushing defeat in the Club World Cup final, Achraf Hakimi has finally broken his silence.

Achraf Hakimi and PSG endured a turbulent Sunday night against Chelsea's Blues in the Club World Cup final. The Parisians suffered a 3-0 loss.

Silent since the setback, Moroccan full-back Hakimi has spoken out in recent hours. He sent a brief message to Parisian fans. "The end of the season wasn't the most ideal, but we can still be proud of everything we've experienced during this historic season. Thank you to everyone who supported us this month in the US. See you very soon!" he wrote on his social networks.

Nevertheless, the Moroccan can take some comfort from his inclusion in the team of the tournament for this Club World Cup.
