Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro found the back of the net as Al-Adalah suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat to Al-Faisaly, coached by ex-Amakhosi mentor Giovanni Solinas.

The South Africa international scored in the 73rd minute, in what proved to be only a consolation goal for his team.

Chivaviro's team sits 15th and one point above the relegation zone, with 17 points picked up in 25 league outings in the Saudi First Division.

The 33-year-old forward, who missed the last match through suspension, has now scored nine goals and provided one assist in 19 matches this season.

Interestingly, he scored eight of the goals in his last eight appearances - this after failing to make the net bulge in his first nine games for the club.

Chivaviro will be eager to maintain momentum when his Al-Adalah side visits Al Bukayriyah in their next outing on Saturday,07 March.
