Real Madrid: Abdellah Ouazane transfer cancelled
Abdellah Ouazane

Initially announced to join Real Madrid, Moroccan prodigy Abdellah Ouazane will remain at Ajax. Here’s the full story!

For several weeks now, Real Madrid has been actively working to strengthen its youth squads, seeking profiles capable of quickly breaking into the first team. In line with this strategy, Los Blancos had set their sights on Ajax Amsterdam’s Moroccan sensation, Abdellah Ouazane.

Ouazane was the standout performer at the most recent U17 Africa Cup of Nations. The deal had been wrapped up for weeks, and the young Moroccan was expected to make the move to Real Madrid.

However, since the agreement was first reported, the official announcement never materialized. Now, it’s clear why. According to journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon of Radio Marca, Abdellah Ouazane will ultimately not sign for Real Madrid. Reportedly, he failed his medical, though no further details were provided. As a result, he is expected to remain at Ajax.
