Real Madrid: Courtois shares a candid admission with Dembélé after the humiliation
PSG vs Real Madrid

Xabi Alonso's Real Madrid simply couldn't match the high level of Luis Enrique's PSG. The Madrid side suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. In the aftermath of the humiliation, Thibaut Courtois made a revealing comment to Ousmane Dembélé.

Real Madrid were outclassed by PSG on Wednesday night (0-4) in the Club World Cup semi-final. After the rout, Thibaut Courtois offered a frank assessment in his post-match analysis. Among the strengths of PSG that the Belgian goalkeeper highlighted was the incredible physical intensity of Les Rouge et Bleu in their pressing. Courtois even admitted he spoke about it with Ousmane Dembélé.

"I told Ousmane Dembélé that he presses a lot. On a goal kick, I have half a second to decide where to play the ball, because they're all over you. It's something we need to improve as a team—it's not just about individuals. As a unit, we need to press better and be more coordinated. Today, we lacked a bit of coordination. In other matches, we've done much better. It's something we need to watch back on video and work on," admitted the Madrid keeper.
