Real Madrid: José Mourinho's clear stance on Vinicius
At a press conference on Tuesday, José Mourinho explained Vinicius Jr.'s poor form.
Already suspended for four LaLiga matches, including Sunday's game against FC Barcelona, Vinicius Jr. is expected to play some minutes against Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday. However, it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian winger still holds untouchable status in José Mourinho's eyes.
Vinicius is not untouchable
With Yan Diomandé putting together a run of strong performances in recent days, the question at Real Madrid is whether Vinicius Jr. will remain a starter. Although Mourinho had already made his decision on the matter last Sunday, the Special One nevertheless admitted that the Brazilian is no longer untouchable.
"Is Vinicius untouchable and guaranteed to start tomorrow? It is the badge that is untouchable. What makes players untouchable is not the armband, their status or their seniority, but their level on the pitch," the Portuguese coach explained at a press conference.

"Vini" will therefore have to fight for a starting place, just like all his teammates.
