Real Madrid: Kylian Mbappé's freedom raises questions
At Real Madrid, French striker Kylian Mbappé remains at the heart of the news in Spain.
On Tuesday, Madrid-based outlet Marca revealed that the former Paris Saint-Germain player, who suffered a knee injury with the France team during this international break, received preferential treatment from José Mourinho's staff. The other injured Merengues players were forced to remain at Valdebebas over the past few days in order to follow the recovery programme imposed by coach José Mourinho.
However, Kylian Mbappé was given permission by Real Madrid to adapt his rehabilitation by continuing his recovery away from the Spanish capital. Although Mbappé returned to Madrid on Monday, the Madrid newspaper believes that the freedoms granted to the 2018 World Cup winner could "raise doubts and tensions with his teammates".
