Real Madrid: Mbappé determined to take all the time he needs
Clearly, there seems to be a disconnect between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé’s camp regarding the timeline for his return.
According to information from Cadena SER, Real Madrid has outlined a layoff of around three weeks and hopes to have the French striker back in time for the Champions League round of 16 second leg against Manchester City.
But the Frenchman’s side sees things differently. Still according to the Spanish radio station, Kylian Mbappé’s entourage believes that the left knee injury is more serious than the official statement suggests. With just over 100 days to go before the 2026 World Cup, the top priority now is a full recovery, with no risk whatsoever of a setback.
