Real Madrid: Vinicius Jr, Florentino Pérez is growing impatient
At Real Madrid, the future of Vinicius Jr remains uncertain.
According to SPORT, negotiations for Vinicius Jr's contract extension have reached a stalemate, mainly due to the Brazilian's financial demands. His camp is asking for a loyalty bonus of €15 million as well as a salary close to that of Kylian Mbappé, estimated at around €30 million gross per season.
Those are conditions Florentino Pérez is reportedly unwilling to accept. With no agreement reached, the Madrid president is now considering selling his winger rather than risk losing him as a free agent when his contract expires.
This saga comes at a time when Real Madrid are also working on signing Yan Diomandé and Rodri. The former, represented by the same agency as Vinicius, is expected in Madrid to finalize his transfer, while Arsenal’s interest in the Brazilian international could further accelerate developments.
