UEFA has decided on the referee for the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Roma.

On Wednesday, Real Madrid will travel to face Roma. For the seventh time in his career, French referee François Letexier will officiate a Real Madrid match. UEFA has appointed the Frenchman to referee Wednesday's Champions League clash between Roma and Los Merengues.

A much-anticipated reunion between Letexier and Mourinho

UEFA's decision brings back bad memories for Madrid coach José Mourinho. On February 17, the Special One, who was still on the Benfica bench, was sent off by Letexier during the first leg of the play-off (a 1-0 win for Real) in Lisbon.

The match was chiefly marked by the incident between Vinicius Junior and Gianluca Prestianni, who was accused of making racist remarks toward the Brazilian.
