Salem Al Dawsari Sets Global Appearance Record with Al Hilal

Despite Al Hilal's quarter final exit from the 2025 FIFA Club World cup at the hands of Fluminense, veteran winger Salem Al Dawsari closed the season by setting remarkable global record in terms of playing time.

Staggering Minutes on the Pitch

According to The Athletic, Al Dawsari ranked 5th worldwide in total minutes played across all competitions during the 2024 /25 season with impressive 6028 minute for Al Hilal.

Al Dawsari’s achievement's even more impressive given his injury setbacks throughout the campaign which saw him miss several key matches.

At 33 years old, the Saudi international continues to defy age delivering one of the most consistent seasons of his career both domestically and internationally.

Contract Extension Confirmed

Al Hilal've shown full confidence in their star man, announcing 2 year contract extension that will keep Al Dawsari at the club until summer 2027.
