The conflict between the two former Indomitable Lions has escalated in recent months following FECAFOOT and Eto’o’s decision to withdraw accreditation from Njitap’s Synafoc, which allowed him to take part in the General Assembly.
The former Chelsea player did not appreciate this low blow from his ex-teammate and decided to take the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Since taking the helm of Cameroonian football’s governing body, Samuel Eto’o has been embroiled in several disputes, the most notable being his ongoing standoff with the Indomitable Lions’ head coach, Marc Brys.
The Belgian coach has repeatedly spoken out against attempts to undermine him by the former Barça striker since being appointed as Cameroon’s manager.
