With his contract expiring on June 30, the Funchal native has yet to receive a renewal offer. His future is under scrutiny as his performances during the 2024-2025 season have been inconsistent.
The coming weeks are expected to be decisive, although it's hard to imagine the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund letting go of one of the key figures behind the Saudi Pro League's meteoric rise.

Signed as a free agent in 2023, the former Real Madrid star has featured in 103 matches, amassing an impressive tally of 91 goals and 19 assists.
