SC Bastia signs an Ivorian-born gem
Issiaka Karomoko

On Monday, SC Bastia officially announced the signing of Issiaka Karamoko as their first summer acquisition. The 23-year-old French-Ivorian winger has penned a four-year deal after an impressive season in the National division.

The transfer window has officially opened in Furiani. To kick off the summer, SC Bastia is banking on the energy of a player on the rise. Issiaka Karamoko, who previously played for FC Chambly and Le Puy Foot Auvergne and made a name for himself at Paris 13 Atlético, becomes the first signing for the Corsican club. Trained at ESTAC, Karamoko has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at Bastia until 2029.

Karamoko made his mark this season in the Championnat National. Starting 32 times, he netted 8 goals and provided 4 assists in the colors of Paris 13 Atlético. His pace and direct style quickly caught the eye of several professional clubs. Bastia wasted no time in moving for him. The 1.82m winger, born July 15, 2001, brings a credible attacking option and could well become one of the revelations of the coming Ligue 2 season.
