Senegal delivered a monumental first half in this afternoon’s friendly in Turkey, completely outclassing Kenya to take a commanding 6–0 lead at the break. The Lions dominated every aspect of the game, imposing a relentless intensity and tactical mastery that left their opponents gasping for air. Sadio Mané, simply unstoppable, settled the contest early with a quick-fire brace… then completed his hat-trick before halftime, capitalizing on high pressing and Kenyan defensive errors. Nicolas also bagged a brace, while El Hadji Malick Diouf added his name to the scoresheet after a recovery by Ibrahima Mbaye.

Rarely troubled, the Senegalese side faced only a minor scare after a Pape Gueye turnover, but it went unpunished. At halftime, it’s a complete masterclass that’s already making history: never before have the Lions led by such a margin after 45 minutes. With this 6–0 advantage, Aliou Cissé’s squad is closing in on Senegal’s all-time record, the famous 7–0 thrashing of Mauritius in 2019. If the Lions keep up this rhythm, that record could well be rewritten in the next few minutes.
