Séverin Rodrigue Onana defends André Onana

The new strongman of Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo, Séverin Rodrigue Onana, has defended André Onana, the last line of defense for the "Indomitable Lions," who has struggled to prove himself with his club, Manchester United.

I wouldn't say that André Onana is underperforming; we've seen several times where he has kept the team alive in Premier League matches. I would say he is going through a rough patch, and very soon he will be at the level we all know.

André Onana's record with Manchester United

The native of Nkol Ngoka was signed by the Red Devils in 2023 from Inter Milan for the handsome sum of 50.2 million euros.

In 87 matches played across all competitions, he has conceded 133 goals with 21 clean sheets.

A rather weak record for someone who was one of the best goalkeepers in Europe during his time with the Lombard club.
