Sierra Leone claimed crucial 2 - 0 victory over Ethiopia on Tuesday evening in Freetown keeping their 2026 World cup qualification hopes alive.

Kamara Breaks the Deadlock

The hosts dominated with organized attacking display and were rewarded in the 37 minute when Momoh Kamara fired home the opener.

Koroma Seals the Win

Ethiopia pushed forward late on but were punished in stoppage time as Alhassan Koroma struck in the 90+6 minute to secure all 3 point.

The win lifts Sierra Leone to 12 point placing them 3rd in Group A behind leaders Egypt (19 pts) & Burkina Faso (14 pts).
