World Cup 2026 - Germany: the players' great gesture towards the fans

Before the kick-off of this 2026 World Cup, the German players decided to go above and beyond for their supporters.

The German squad will cover the costs of shuttle buses, allowing their own fans to reach the stadiums hosting Nationalmannschaft matches. That's according to a report by The Athletic.

Given the steep price of public transport in the United States (85 euros for a round trip between Manhattan and MetLife Stadium, near New York, where Germany will play their final group-stage match against Ecuador), the players have arranged buses for 4,000 fans.
