Victim of a cruciate ligament rupture, the major attraction of Senegalese football has been sidelined for the past few months.

According to reliable sources, he is set to resume competition with his club Génération Foot in the coming days.

Great news for coach Pape Thiaw, the manager of Senegal, who will be able to offer him playing time during the next international break, notably marked by the friendly match against England.

FC Metz on the lookout

The French club is already rubbing its hands in anticipation of signing the Senegalese star when he comes of age in 2026.

FC Metz aims to develop the young player before putting him on the transfer market, as they have done in the past with all Senegalese recruits from Génération Foot.
