AC Milan's new signing, Warren Bondo, has played a trick on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) national team.

Although he was expected to join the Leopards during the March international break, the Evry-born player revealed in an interview with Foot Mercato that he has ambitions to represent the French national team.

Before Warren Bondo, three other players opted to represent the Blues over the 'Leopards'.

Blaise Matuidi

His parents fled Angola to settle in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) before moving to France.

In 84 matches with the Blues, Blaise Matuidi scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists.

Through his foundation based in the DRC, he helps reintegrate young people through sports.

Claude Makélélé

Born in Kinshasa, he moved to France at a young age, where he trained with lower division clubs US Boussy-Saint-Antoine and FC Melun.

He made his mark with FC Nantes before wearing the jerseys of Real Madrid, Chelsea, and finally Paris Saint-Germain.

He participated in 71 matches with the Blues, contributing 3 assists.

Randal Kolo Muani

The former FC Nantes player did not hesitate to represent the French national team.

In 27 matches with the Blues, he scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists.
