Transfer: Al Ahly says yes to Emam Ashour

The Egyptian club Al Ahly has agreed to the terms set by its star Emam Ashour for the extension of his contract until 2030.

Not satisfied with his current contract, the former Al Zamalek player made sure his employers were aware of his demands.

Ultimately, the financial committee agreed to increase the player's salary on the condition that he extends his contract until 2030.

In a noticeable dip in form, the 27-year-old player will strive to quickly regain his best form, especially since the club has reached the final stretch of the 2024-2025 season, particularly in the CAF Champions League.

Emam Ashour's season in numbers

The former player of the Danish club FC Midtjylland participated in 27 matches this season across all competitions, recording a total of 13 goals and 5 assists.

As a reminder, his market value recently increased to 3.5 million euros in the latest update on the Transfermarkt website.
