Transfer market: Ademola Lookman on Arsenal’s radar!

According to several consistent sources, Arsenal are closely monitoring Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian striker from Atalanta Bergamo, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed on his X account that the Gunners have placed Lookman on their shortlist of top targets for this summer.

"Arsenal have added Ademola Lookman to their shortlist for the summer. Other clubs are interested as well.

The plan remains unchanged: Lookman is looking for a new challenge this summer. A return to the Premier League is possible.

The versatile 27-year-old winger is under contract with Atalanta until 2027. He is enjoying an outstanding season with 20 goals and 7 assists across all competitions."

A battle between European giants for Lookman!

The Nigerian international, whose market value is estimated at €60 million, has also attracted the interest of several European heavyweights, including FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Juventus.

Having joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022, Lookman has played 37 matches this season, netting 18 goals and providing 7 assists. His contract runs until June 30, 2027.
