Transfer market: Ayoub El Kaabi blocked by Olympiakós?

The Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi is highly sought after by the Emirati club Al Ain, which is considering recruiting him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Under contract with Olympiakós until 2026, the former Wydad striker is not guaranteed a move this summer.

According to the Greek press, Spanish coach José Luis Mendilibar intends to block the Moroccan player during the next transfer window.

Aged 31, the Casablanca native made a strong impression during his Greek adventure, following three average stints with Wydad, Hatayspor, and Al-Sadd.

Ayoub El Kaabi's record with Olympiakós

In 90 matches played with the Greek football giant, across all competitions, he achieved a record of 57 goals and 8 assists.

As a reminder, he was one of the key players in his club's triumph in the last edition of the Conference League.

His market value is estimated at 5 million euros according to the specialized site transfermarket.
