Transfer market: Cheikhou Kouyaté on Amedspor's radar
Without a club since July 2024, Cheikhou Kouyaté is not ready to hang up his boots just yet. The former Senegal international could be set for a comeback in Turkey.

The 35-year-old defensive midfielder hasn't played since last season. He was released by Nottingham Forest after two seasons in which he made 36 appearances and scored one goal.

Looking for a new challenge, the former West Ham midfielder has caught the eye of Amedspor, a club from Turkey's second division.
The Diyarbakır-based club wants to strengthen its midfield with experienced players in order to quickly return to the top flight.
The former Lion of Teranga (92 caps, 4 goals) has worn the colors of several teams throughout his illustrious career, including Anderlecht in Belgium, as well as West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest in England.
