Transfer market: Derby County enters the race to sign Issa Kaboré

Unable to make his mark at Manchester City, Issa Kaboré could find himself back in the English Championship. Derby County has officially inquired about signing the Stallions’ right-back.

According to Africafoot, Derby County has made an official approach to Manchester City to learn the terms for Issa Kaboré, the 25-year-old defender. With just one year left on his contract, City would rather cash in now than lose him for free in 2027.

Issa Kaboré’s profile has certainly caught the Rams’ eye. After a standout season with Wrexham—30 Championship appearances and 8 assists—the former Marseille man has shown he can keep pace with English football’s intensity.
