Transfer market: Former "Indomitable Lion" on Espérance's radar
Espérance de Tunis is pulling out all the stops to strengthen its squad ahead of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to Tunisian television, the 2024-2025 Tunisian champions have set their sights on former Cameroon international Didier Lamkel Zé.

With his contract expiring at K. Sint-Truidense VV at the end of the current season, the Bertoua-born forward will be a free agent on the transfer market.

Drawn into Group D, the Blood and Gold will face Flamengo (Brazil), Chelsea (England), and the winner of the playoff match between Club America (Mexico) and Los Angeles FC (United States).

The former Brasseries Academy product started the season with two Turkish clubs, Sakaryaspor and Karagümrük, before joining K. Sint-Truidense in the next transfer window.
