Transfer market: Zizo expected to play Club World Cup with Al Ahly

The Egyptian international Ahmed Sayed, known as Zizo, is expected to strengthen Al Ahly's ranks during the final phase of the Club World Cup.

The United States will host this new edition of the Club World Cup from June 14 to July 13.

According to the Arabic website Kooora, the strongman of Al Zamalek has signed a contract with the African football giant for the sum of 5 million euros.

According to the same source, the official announcement is scheduled for June 1, just a few days before the kick-off of the competition.

An excellent reinforcement in prospect for Al Ahly, who seems determined to field a highly competitive team at the American event.

The Cairo club has been placed in Group A alongside Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, as well as FC Porto and Palmeiras.

In addition to Al Ahly, Africa will be represented by Espérance de Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Wydad in the Club World Cup.
