After Sadio Mané (Al Nassr), Khalidou Koulibaly (Al Hilal), and Édouard Mendy (Al Ahly), another "Lion" is reportedly on the verge of joining the Roshn Saudi League.
That player is Nampalys Mendy, the tenacious midfielder whose contract with RC Lens is set to expire on June 30th.
He is currently on the radar of Neom Sports Club, a Saudi side that will compete in the Elite Division starting next season.

Nampalys Mendy’s average season with RC Lens
Bafétimbi Gomis’s cousin managed to play only 8 matches in the 2024-2025 season, failing to score or provide a single assist.
This has taken a toll on his market value, which now stands at 2 million euros—10 million less than back in 2016 when he was playing for Leicester City.
