U17 AFCON: Morocco dominates the team of the tournament's first round
Morocco dominated the team of the tournament for the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (U17 AFCON) which concluded last Monday.
The North African selection placed four players in the tournament's best eleven, namely goalkeeper Chouaib Bellaarouch, central defender Driss Ait Cheikh, midfielder Abdellah Ouazane, and forward Ilies Belmokhtar.

Meanwhile, Burkina Faso was represented by two players, defender Issouf Dabo and forward Abdoulaye Latif Diaby.

The other players selected for this team of the tournament are right-back Alpha Mbengue (Senegal), left-back Naim Talmoudi (Tunisia), defensive midfielder Bokamoso Mokokosi (South Africa), playmaker Seydou Dembele (Mali), and forward Alynho Haidara (Ivory Coast).
CAF's choices are highly debatable, especially since they omitted Senegalese midfielder Ibrahima Sory Sow and Burkinabe forward Ashraf Tapsoba.
