UEFA Champions League: PSG join Inter in the final!

Paris Saint-Germain have booked their ticket to the grand final of the UEFA Champions League after overcoming Arsenal (2-1) on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

Resilient despite a tricky start, the Parisians will face Inter Milan as they chase their first star on the European stage.

Right from kickoff, Luis Enrique's men were put under pressure by a fiercely aggressive Arsenal side. Merino went close just three minutes in, followed by a dangerous strike from Martinelli that Donnarumma managed to turn away.

The Italian goalkeeper then shone again by denying Odegaard's effort. For 15 minutes, PSG bent but did not break under the onslaught.

Kvaratskhelia and Hakimi turn the tide

Gradually, the Parisian armada regained control. Kvaratskhelia sparked the first threat with a curling shot that hit the post, before Fabian Ruiz ignited the stadium with a sublime half-volley (27th). Arsenal, stunned, lost their momentum.

After the break, the French capital club opted to sit deep and play on the counter. Vitinha missed a crucial penalty, but Hakimi made the Gunners pay with a pinpoint strike (72nd). Saka managed to pull one back (76th), but Paris held firm.

It's on to the final for PSG—closer than ever to making history!
