UEFA Conference League: the top 5 best African players
Several African players made a strong impression in the latest edition of the UEFA Conference League, which was won by Chelsea at the expense of Real Betis.
According to statistics from the specialist site Sofascore, the best African player in the C3 was none other than Togolese forward Kévin Denkey, who netted 4 goals for his former Belgian club Cercle Brugge before moving to American side Cincinnati during the last winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Ivorian Christian Kouamé secured second place thanks to his 4 goal involvements with his former club Fiorentina. He too moved during the last transfer window, joining Empoli.

Scorer for Chelsea in the final, Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson claimed the fourth spot in the African Top 5, edging out Nigerian goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, who impressed with Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia.
