The UNIFAC qualifying tournament for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations begins this Thursday. Cameroon face Chad at 1 p.m. Yaoundé time at Olembé Stadium.
Confident Cameroon at home
The U20 Lions approach their opening match with plenty of enthusiasm. Yvan Kenmoe's players looked in excellent shape during their final training session yesterday. They will play in front of their home fans, a major asset for this first match. Chad aim to cause an upset
Opposite them, Chad are making their return. Absent for several years, the U20 Sao are returning to the zonal tournament. It promises to be a difficult comeback against the host country and its home crowd. But coach Abakar Allamine Mahamat is confident. He said his players are ready to rise to the challenge.
