The Fennecs will face Botswana and Mozambique, for the 5th and 6th matchdays of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

As a reminder, Algeria has not participated in the World Cup since the 2014 edition held in Brazil.
Injured with his Qatari club Al-Sadd during the match against Emirati club Al-Wassl in the Asian Elite Champions League, the former Nice player has recovered and will strengthen the Fennecs' ranks for their next two outings in the World Cup qualifiers.
Youcef Atal's Season in Numbers
Long ineligible to participate in Qatar Stars League matches, the former Paradou academy graduate has recently been qualified to play in the local competition.
He boasts 10 matches in the current 2024-2025 season, with a record of 3 assists.
