The only goal of the match was scored by Union Sportive de Monastir's striker, Hazem Mestouri, as early as the fourth minute, following a clever assist from Ali Abdi.
With this win, Tunisia solidified their top spot in Group H with 13 points, ahead of Namibia (11 points). Liberia ranks third with 7 points, followed by Malawi with 6 points, then Equatorial Guinea with 3 points. São Tomé is at the bottom with zero points.
Tunisia, the only team yet to concede a goal in the qualifiers!
Thanks to their defensive strength and flawless organization, Tunisia is the only African team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers to have not conceded a single goal so far.
Ali Abdi's teammates boast an impressive defensive record in these qualifiers, with four wins and one draw in the last five matches, never having their defense breached.
