World Cup: Espérance intensifies efforts to sign Omar Al-Somah

Espérance de Tunis is pulling out all the stops in a bid to bring in Syrian striker Omar Al-Somah.

The Tunisian club hopes to finalize this transfer in the next few hours, just before the close of the exceptional transfer window which ends this Tuesday, June 10 at midnight.

If all goes as planned, the Syrian goal machine will bolster the Tunisian giant’s squad for the final phase of the FIFA Club World Cup, kicking off on Sunday, June 15.

As a reminder, the tournament draw has placed Espérance de Tunis in Group D alongside Chelsea, Flamengo, and Los Angeles.

At 36 years old, the Syrian international has made a lasting impact in the Saudi league in recent years. In 197 matches, he has netted 155 goals and provided 25 assists.
