Youcef Belaïli arrested in Paris, here's why!
Youcef Belaïli

Algerian international footballer Youcef Belaïli was arrested this Wednesday, July 2, in Paris. Here's the reason why.

This Wednesday, Youcef Belaïli once again made headlines in the media. After recently competing in the FIFA Club World Cup with Espérance Tunis, the Algerian midfielder has now been arrested in Paris for a less illustrious reason.

According to DZ Foot, Belaïli was detained by French police upon landing at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport. The reason behind this police intervention was reportedly the player's refusal to fasten his seatbelt during the New York-Paris flight. The situation then escalated, leading to an altercation on board.
