Zizo to take part in Club World Cup with Al Ahly

It’s now official: Egyptian international Ahmed Sayed Zizo will take part in the Club World Cup with Al Ahly.

According to Egyptian media, the player will not travel with the team delegation to the United States on June 4 for strictly legal reasons.

Under contract with Al Zamalek until June 30, Zizo is not allowed to leave his club before fulfilling his commitments for the 2024-2025 season.

As a reminder, last season’s Confederation Cup winners will face Pyramids on June 5 in the Egypt Cup final.

Zizo will therefore join the rest of the Al Ahly delegation on June 6 and will take part in the team’s preparations for the Club World Cup.

Placed in Group A, Al Ahly will face Inter Miami, Palmeiras, and FC Porto in the global showdown.
