The headquarters of the Egyptian Football Federation and the National Teams Center, located in 6 October in the Giza province, west of Greater Cairo, are hosting today, Sunday, April 13, the draw ceremony for the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations. This event is held under the supervision of officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the organizing committee of the competition.

This edition is taking place in Egypt following the withdrawal of Ivory Coast, initially designated to host the tournament, as previously reported.

CAF has released an official statement on its website announcing that the draw ceremony will occur today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Federation, starting at 15:00 GMT.

Although the draw had taken place before, it was canceled following the exclusion of Ivory Coast and Tunisia's qualification to take its place. Additionally, the Republic of Congo was replaced by the Central African Republic due to the suspension of the Congolese Football Federation's activities. Consequently, CAF decided to redo the draw.
