Huge blow for Haiti just hours before the start of the 2026 World Cup.

As the Haitian national team prepares to face Scotland next Sunday at 3 a.m., bad news has just dropped. The match will go ahead without one of their key players.

Indeed, after suffering an injury to his right Achilles tendon, Leverton Pierre will be unable to play. The Vizela defensive midfielder is replaced by Garven Metusala. The Colorado Springs Switchbacks center-back will take part in this historic tournament for Haiti.
