In Brazil, everyone is getting involved to see Neymar play at the 2026 World Cup. It's reached the point where the country's president personally reached out to Carlo Ancelotti.

Neymar's presence at the 2026 World Cup is a hot topic in Brazil. According to President Lula, the former PSG star still has what it takes to help the Seleção chase a sixth world title. For the record, Neymar hasn't been called up to the national team since Carlo Ancelotti took over as head coach.

President Lula reportedly discussed this issue with the former Real Madrid coach. The conversation took place during an interview with online media on Tuesday.

"I spoke with Ancelotti and he asked me: 'Do you think Neymar should be called up?' I told him: 'If he's physically ready, he absolutely has the level for it,'" he revealed. Ancelotti is set to announce his 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup on May 18.
