Although the training camp has already begun, Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé has called up reinforcements just a few hours ago.
As part of the 7th and 8th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Emerse Faé has strengthened his squad with the arrival of two new players. To complete his group, Faé has brought in defender Armel Zohouri from FC Iberia 1999 and veteran goalkeeper Folly Ayayi from ASEC Mimosas.
These reinforcements come as Wilfried Singo (Galatasaray) and Yahia Fofana, who is set to join Rizespor on a free transfer, will join the squad in the coming days. Their involvement in Friday's home match against Burundi remains uncertain, although they are expected to be back in time for the clash with Gabon on September 9.
