Excellent news for Spain just three days before the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup.

After suffering left thigh injuries and being considered doubtful for the start of the 2026 World Cup, both Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams are now confirmed to be fit and ready for Spain’s opening match. That clash will take place next Monday against Cape Verde.

The good news was announced by head coach Luis de la Fuente. However, both wingers will not participate in the final warm-up match, scheduled for this Tuesday against Peru.
