Ivorian forward Vakoun Bayo is set to embark on a new adventure in Italy, having signed with Udinese until June 2028.

Here are five things you should know about the Ivorian striker.
- Born on January 10, 1997, in Daloa (Ivory Coast), Vakoun Bayo began his playing career with local club Stade Abidjan.
- After three seasons wearing the jersey of Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Tunisia, he left Africa for Europe in the summer of 2018.

- He has played in several leagues, including Slovakia (Dunajska Streda), Scotland (Celtic Glasgow), France (Toulouse), Belgium (Gent and Charleroi), and England (Watford).
- Before his Italian adventure, he had a rather convincing spell with the Hornets, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists in 109 appearances.
- He has played 5 matches for the Elephants, finding the net against Chad in November 2024 during a CAN qualifier.
