AFCON U-20: List of teams qualified for the quarter-finals

Three teams have already punched their tickets to the quarter-finals of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Sierra Leone leads the way, collecting 7 points from their four group stage matches. They will sit out the fourth matchday in Group A.

Meanwhile, Morocco finished top of Group B with a haul of 7 points thanks to impressive wins over Kenya (3-2) and Tunisia (3-1), along with a goalless draw against Nigeria (0-0).

In the same group, the “Flying Eagles” of Nigeria secured second place with 5 points, having edged Tunisia by the narrowest of margins, and drawing with both Morocco (0-0) and Kenya (2-2).

Defending champions in danger

The reigning champions, Senegal, are on the brink of an early exit. A defeat or even a draw against DR Congo in their final Group C clash would mean a shock elimination for the holders from the AFCON U-20 at the group stage.
