Alexander Djiku is no longer part of José Mourinho's plans. The Fenerbahçe coach has reportedly made it clear to the club’s management that he does not intend to count on the Ghanaian center-back for next season.

According to journalist Zafer Ertas, the Turkish club is now open to considering all offers for their player, who is under contract until June 2026. At 30, Djiku has just completed a strong season with 35 appearances and one goal—a consistent performance that has naturally drawn the attention of ambitious clubs.

Olympique de Marseille are closely monitoring the situation. Djiku’s profile is highly valued at the Vélodrome: robust, experienced, a natural leader—he’s exactly the type of player who could bring stability to a rebuilding defense. Talks have not yet started, but the file is open.
