Free since his departure from Sampdoria in August 2024, Andrea Pirlo is making his return to the dugout.

The legendary former midfielder has been named head coach of United FC, a club based in the United Arab Emirates. The news was confirmed this Friday, July 25. Pirlo, 46, now takes charge of a team competing in the UAE top flight. This new challenge marks the Italian's comeback to coaching after a year away from the game.

With his arrival, United FC is hoping to take a step forward thanks to the experience and footballing vision of the former Juventus and Azzurri maestro.
