Aston Villa have secured their man. According to Sky Sports, the club has reached an agreement with Morgan Rogers for a contract extension.

The 23-year-old English attacking midfielder was highly sought after. Chelsea, Liverpool, and other top clubs were closely monitoring his progress, but Aston Villa managed to keep him. Rogers joined the club in January 2024 and quickly became a key figure within the squad. Last season, he notched up 8 goals and 10 assists in 38 Premier League matches—impressive statistics that caught the eye of the league's heavyweights.

Unai Emery, Aston Villa’s manager, had confirmed that talks were ongoing. Now it’s official: Rogers will stay until 2031, one year longer than his previous deal. According to Sky, he will become one of the highest-paid players in the squad.
